Grace Wins . . . Every Time!

A quiet house, beautiful sunrise, tree lights and garland illuminates our home. The boys and fur-babies are fast asleep God reminds me of family, friends and many others I may never know who are hurting. Some are believers while others are not. Although it’s a new dawn, a new day, a new year their hurts carry into this moment and each day forward. Some are stuck while others are transitioning through the pain and the process to soon find complete healing.

It’s simple really. Hurting people hurt people.

A prayer journal with names scribed on both sides, a turned page is a new blank canvas only to be filled again. God knows every detail. He knows my heart. He knows yours as well.

Walking through the countless trials of this world there are many of us who are strong in the grace of God while many others fall short. Regardless of where we think we are or think where we should be nothing surprises God. I’m no theologian, but I do know God never says, “Wow, I didn’t see that coming!” He sees you. He knows your pain. He also knows how your story ends. He will put people in your path to walk along side of you to victory. He will give you every opportunity to do what He has called you to do. Love others, be kind, forgive, show grace. His love and grace intentionally and ever-so-lovingly carries us whether we choose to resist and remain in our hurt or whether we run to Him with childlike faith to freedom and healing.

Today and each day forward we will cross paths with many, many people. Some will be humble and kind, others will be challenging and even others will be downright hurtful through their words and/or actions. It is on my heart to encourage each of you as I encourage myself to pray for them, show them grace, love and mercy. It may lead to reconciliation or it may not. God does not call us to be doormats or accept unhealthy relationships that are destructive, however, we can and should forgive them, pray for them and love them from afar. Regardless, we are called to love at all times

Some relationships will last a lifetime. Others may only be for a specific time and season of our lives. Either way, the grace that God gave us is a gift and is not for us to keep. It was given so that we may extend it to everyone around us. God doesn’t ensure it will be easy, but it is our calling and it will be worth it.

In the end, grace wins … every time!

If you are hurting and would like prayer, please message me or comment below and we will all cover you in prayer. I’m here for you. I’m praying for each of you that read these words God blesses me with to share. Stand from a place of victory because God’s mercy is new every morning just for you and me.

Love you all💕

      1. God’s wisdom and discernment will guide you to strong, assertive boundaries that keep you healthy, happy, balanced and at peace. I’ll pray for the families hearts to be convicted as well. 😍😘

  1. Missy, I’ve been away from Word Press (have not posted any new blogs) for about a year now and I’m in the process of reading the unread blog postings that I have received.

To begin, please forgive me for not getting in touch with you when the World Skeet Shooting Competition was in San Antonio last year. I was having a hard time with my balance, strength, and many other things that I later learned was “polyneuropathy”.

I truly miss our text comments to each other and reading your wonderful God inspired blogs. I have thought of you often and also prayed for you. Can we resume our blogging friendship from where we left off? It would mean so much to me.

    Thank you

  2. Hey,
    Hope you are doing well.
Not sure if I have sent this request before.
I am scheduling Mental Health Awareness re-blogs for the month of May, can I share a blog post of yours that’s related to the subject in any way.
Your words can help educate the readers on the subject and give validation to the ones traveling in the same boat.
    Thank you! 🙂

God bless you. 🙏🏻😘

      1. I have a search function on my page. I’m sure it will yield results for PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicide, etc. Let me check and I’ll let you know.
