A table set for a just three
The smallest in my memory
For all who were lovingly invited
Had places to be and meals provided
Some seats are empty, they’re now in heaven
Expectant, we know we will see them again
Not one memory is tarnished
And any sadness has vanished
Reflecting on Thanksgiving past
The multitude and significance
China, sterling silver, white linens
Amazing smells, fellowship, so it begins
This year is a year of great provision
A new birth and a new relationship given
I have no wishes – all my dreams have come true
God healed, breathed fresh life and made me anew
His love is what I seek first, always and foremost
Only in Jesus will I unashamedly and proudly boast
I pray your pristine beauty arises from the depths of the ashes
His love for you is Eternal, just as His grace is
