Promises, Promises

Promises, Promises

In the “right” long distance relationship, or any relationship for that matter, every conversation leaves you feeling closer than one could imagine. The conversations could be several times a day, once a week, every few months or even years between conversations.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your path straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

With God first and an eternal focus on His will, both independently and together, peace settles in like a warm blanket and a hot beverage. I’m sure you’ve had that friend where you pick up right back up where you left off from the last time you talked. It’s so special right? I think so too.

Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 (NASB)

God has the plan.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)

When you’ve experienced the unconditional, the covenant, the extraordinary by trusting God and keeping Him first it’s easy, it’s incredible, it’s a gift.
