Another Night On My Knees

My life is far from perfect, but God’s blessings in my life are.

I’ve been on my knees a lot this week. Please don’t worry, it is mostly all gratitude, thankfulness and in great anticipation of what’s coming with a few struggles mixed in. I have no idea what He has for me, but I know my Father, and it is going to be phenomenal.

Tonight I will meet Him there again thanking Him for…

•A good medical report from a very dear friend whom I love…

•Two wonderful visits, 2 days in a row with my dear sister in Christ… Love you “one penny”

•A divine appointment with a sister-survivor whom I shared Sydney’s testimony with…

•An intentional phone call from another lovely sister in Christ whom I simply adore…

•My boys, my family and most certainly my love…

•Healing, provision and favor…

… and my list continues, not in that order of course.

Those of you who are loving the pumpkin spice everything, the fall decorations, and the rain you might love me for quoting one of my favorite Christmas songs. I pray you lay your head tonight counting your blessings instead of sheep.

Count Your Blessings

When I’m worried and I can’t sleep

I count my blessings instead of sheep

And I fall asleep counting my blessings

When my bankroll is getting small

I think of when I had none at all

And I fall asleep counting my blessings

I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads

And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds

If you’re worried and you can’t sleep

Just count your blessings instead of sheep

And you’ll fall asleep counting your blessings

Be blessed my friends and know that whatever your trial, difficulty, pain or circumstance know we serve a Mighty God and He’s got this. Whatever your “this” God has it and you!

Grace wins every time, Missy
