Thank You

Thank you all for your unending generosity and especially your heartfelt and vigilant prayers. We so appreciate the countless, delicious, and healthy meals you provided for me and the boys. Your friendship, love, and faithfulness brings me to tears. I do not worry where the provision will all come from. I trust Him always. We are forever grateful for YOU in being His hands and feet.

TYmmIn God’s economy the math never adds up. His provision is abundant. Now would be a perfect time to freak out over finances. Let’s face it, I’m a single mother, single income with a mortgage, car payment, three young men/boys, one getting married in July, the next graduating high school, and the baby going to drive soon, etc.  Rather than focus on what is before me, I fix my eyes on Jesus. He has provided me with an amazing job working with people I love. Through this job they offer generous benefits going far beyond the minimum. I appreciate their generous hearts and provision every day! God has placed amazing family, and friends in my life. Friends of recent to the dearest of friends which I’ve had for over 35 years (yes, since birth — wink). They’ve provided me with 24 hour care for 8+ days, fixed my fence, chauffeur to doctor appointments, prescription runs refusing to take payment, installed a pull down shower head since I can’t raise my arms, numerous trips to the grocery store, coordinated things, visits, food baskets, and anticipated every detail needed to help me recover quickly, to make my life easier for me or for the boys. I am crying now in an overwhelming emotion of appreciation just recalling all the love you all have shown. I am especially grateful for all those who may not know me directly who have provided for and prayed for me specifically. You have blessed me greatly. Through this journey of breast cancer, I continue to tithe to my church, Celebration Church, especially now. Our momma taught us to tithe willingly, with a happy heart. I honor our parents, and God by continuing the legacy our momma showed us week after week. She never complained but did so joyfully. It is a privilege and an honor to give back the small 10% God has entrusted me with. It is all His anyway. He just asks for 10% first before anything else gets paid. Please know my heart and I don’t share this to say, “Oh, look at me.” but rather to highlight the abundance of God’s financial provision that has taken place over the last few weeks, because I do fully put my trust in Him. I do not tithe so I can get back. Unwavering in my faith and trust in Him I believe He is my provider. He will make it happen as I watch the beauty unfold.

Below are just a few examples of God’s provision over the last few weeks. PRAISE to God!

Of late, this is how God’s provision unfolds in my life: A check for $300 from Wells Fargo for some mortgage settlement came in today; I received a $100 coupon if I open a Wells Fargo account; ST disability check received; generous checks, cash, and contributions to my GiveForward campaign from really amazing friends, family, loved ones and those choosing to remain anonymous, Blue Cross revised my originally denied $4,040 BRCA cancer gene test showing my portion is ZERO; I paid P&H $300 cash for a necessary but incredibly unattractive mastectomy compression vest and BCBS paid P&H so they are cutting me a refund check this week for $300. IT ALL adds up and will enable me to apply these amounts to ARA $1,795 balance from my 2014 and 2015 deductibles) and Seton Williamson ($3,700 surgery remaining balance).

God never fails or disappoints. His timing is always perfect. I continue to put my trust in Him and He continues to bless me in abundance and beyond all comprehension. Thank you all for being part of such a beautiful and amazing journey. I love you!

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.  Malachi 3:10 (NASB)
